What we do
| How does Shed Lender protect my personal information? | To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files. Your information is transmitted over an encrypted connection, and sensitive application details are stored in encrypted form with access restricted to authorized personnel. |
| How does Shed Lender collect my personal information? | We collect your personal information when you use the payment estimator, check your eligibility, or submit a financing pre-qualification on our website, or when you contact us for assistance. |
| Why can’t I limit all sharing? | Federal law gives you the right to limit only sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes (information about your creditworthiness), affiliates from using your information to market to you, and sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you. State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing. |
Definitions
| Affiliates | Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. Our affiliates include the other structure companies under common ownership with Stoltzfus Structures. |
| Nonaffiliates | Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. Nonaffiliates we share with are the third-party lending partners who process the financing you request, including Thrive Financial, Pure Finance, Upgrade, and Figure Lending. |
| Joint marketing | A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you. Shed Lender does not jointly market. |
